Opening and Admission
The Museum is now closed for the winter and will reopen at Easter 2012
(Tuesday 3 April - Sunday 28 October 2012): new exhibitions will include a celebration
of the history of The Dalesman magazine, an important show of portraits by Sam
Dalby, and displays to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
Opening 2011 (Tuesday 19 April 2011 to Sunday 30 October 2011)
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays 12.30 pm - 4.30pm
- Tuesdays, 10.30 am - 4.30 pm
From 2011, the Museum is open FIVE days a week.
Also:
- Saturdays (except 23 April) Afternoon Teas will be served
in the parlour 2.30-4.30 (£2)
- 20 & 21 Aug 2011 only: Free admission for up to two
adults on production of the voucher in the Craven Herald of 18 Aug 2011
- The Museum will take part in Heritage Open Days in 2011
on Sun 11-Sep-2011: admission FREE to all! There will be
quizes to challenge adults and children. Heritage Open Days at: http://www.heritageopendays.org.uk/.
Entry on Sat 10th September will be as normal.
- Sat 10-Dec-2011 Yuletide Event: Seasonal Words and Music,
Mulled wine and Mince Pies 10 am - 12 noon Free admission / refreshments £3

- Children 16 and under: FREE
- Adult Standard Charge: £2.50; Gift Aided: £2.80
- Concessionary Standard Charge: £2.00; Gift Aided: £2.20

- Gift Aid will be available on
admission charges for those that wish it and are eligible

Fund members: free admission on production of membership card
- Concessions for Students, Jobseekers and Senior Citizens (aged 60 and over)
on production of documentation
- Settle TIC volunteers and Yorkshire & Humber Museum Volunteer passholders
may benefit from free admission
- Season ticket (introduced in 2006): £6: unlimited entry. The season
ticket is for a named person and is non-transferable, for 12 months from date
of issue
- Gift Aid is equally applicable on season tickets and cash donations: see
details in the Museum.
