The exhibition arising from Archive Alive runs from April to June 2009 in the Museum of North Craven Life at The Folly, Settle and is a spectacular, interesting, and exciting insight into local history. Examples and extracts of the exhibition are available on the website, notably the narratives from the displays, and some extracts of the music and the poetry readings. These may be found at:
A Victorian family outing?
NCBPT has secured a grant for £49,400 from the Heritage Lottery Fund to purchase an important archive of books, documents and photographs about North Craven and to fund a project officer to make the collections accessible to local people. The Archive Alive project will run from June 2008 for one year and culminate in an exhibition at The Folly in spring 2009.
